Job Description

Ramb Trading PLC is a growing Ethiopian import, export, and trading company engaged in international trade, commodity supply, vehicle and machinery importation, and other commercial activities. We are looking for qualified, responsible, and motivated professionals to join our team.

Position: Junior Accountant

Number of candidate: 1

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions accurately.

• Prepare and organize invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and other accounting documents.

• Assist with bank and cash reconciliations.

• Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules.

• Assist with tax-related documentation and filings.

• Maintain organized physical and electronic accounting files.

• Support the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities.

• Assist in tracking supplier and customer balances.

• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Candidate Qualities & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax requirements.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

• Organized, disciplined, and responsible.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

• Honest and trustworthy.
