What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Senior Installers: Help cut carpet rolls to size, stretch material, and secure it over tack strips or with adhesives.
- Site Preparation: Remove old flooring, trim baseboards, clean, level, and prep subfloors before new installations begin.
- Maintenance & Repair: Operate specialized cleaning and repair tools (like steam cleaners) to remove stains and perform minor carpet stretching.
- Customer Service: Communicate with clients, answer basic questions regarding care, and provide initial room measurements.
- Produce rugs fittings to customers’ desires and needs.
- Produce pile fabrics such as carpets using tufting technology
- Tool Handling & Cleanup: Maintain inventory of supplies, manage and clean tools, and dispose of remnant debris etc
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Years of Experience: 2 years’ work experience in modeling, glazing and designing ceramic products or related
Relevant Experience: minimum 6/4 years work experience of sculpture, kiln operation/ ceramic glazing or related

Educational Requirements: Grade 6 or above completed in textile, fine arts, or a related field is preferred
