SPEC Toolbox is an engineering design platform that removes technical barriers between designers and innovative construction products. Through powerful, easy-to-use software, it helps engineers specify modern manufactured materials with confidence, making innovation easy to specify.

 Job Summary: 

CLT Toolbox Engineering is seeking a Junior Structural Engineer to join our team in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Responsibilities:

• Work in accordance with company policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures.

• Develop Python-based engineering calculators using AI-powered development workflows, with strong technical accuracy and user-focused thinking.

• Communicate proactively and effectively across the SPEC Toolbox team.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• B.Sc. (2+ years) or M.Sc. (entry-level) in Civil/Structural Engineering.

• Strong working knowledge of structural design codes/standards.

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Experience with programming languages and AI-powered development tools is a plus.
