What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain woodworking machinery such as saws, lathes, planers and so on.
- Read and interpret designs, specifications, and production orders
- Select and prepare proper raw materials for cutting and shaping
- Monitor raw material wastage by taking proper measurements during production.
- Ensure that finished products meet with quality standards and specifications etc
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Years of Experience: minimum experience of 4/2 year in wood technology, furniture making, operating of machines or related fields.
Relevant Experience: Experience with woodworking machineries, hand tools and woodworking techniques

Soft Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge
Knowledge of different types of wooden and other raw materials and their properties
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: Require at least completed grade 10/12 high school and certificate of woodwork technical training or diploma holder in wood technology and related
