Job Summary

ALSAM PLC is launching the BiC Cristal Pen Manufacturing Factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and invites qualified, experienced, and competent professionals to join its technical and production team.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years' experience in maintenance within the highly preferred. FMCG manufacturing industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or senior maintenance role.

• Experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment reliability improvement.

Skills & Competencies

• Deep knowledge of injection molding, extrusion, and automatic assembly machines.

• Knowledge of PLC-driven machines.

• Understanding of advanced control systems (sensors, actuators, pneumatics, high-pressure hydraulics).

• Strong organizational skills.

• Knowledge of spare parts management.

• Ability to organize and implement preventive maintenance programs.

• Continuous Improvement mindset.

• Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate technical interventions.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical maintenance systems.

• Knowledge of injection molding machines and plastic manufacturing processes.

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and maintenance team management skills.

• Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance best practices.
