We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Technician to oversee and execute our factory's physical and technical operations in Gelan.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and performing all maintenance activities within the factory. This includes electrical systems, building and compound maintenance, and plumbing networks. The role ensures that all equipment, facilities, and utilities are maintained in a safe, efficient, and operational condition to support uninterrupted factory production.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Systems: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wiring, lighting, power distribution panels, and motors.

• Facility Maintenance: Inspect, repair, and maintain factory buildings, offices, warehouses, and the surrounding compound.

• Plumbing Networks: Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, pumps, and valves.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix complex electrical, plumbing, and building structural issues.

• Downtime Minimization: Coordinate all maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime and production interruptions.

• Safety & Compliance: Conduct routine inspections to ensure total compliance with workplace safety and electrical standards.

• Documentation & Inventory: Maintain maintenance records, service histories, and monitor spare parts and tools inventory.

• Contractor Management: Supervise external contractors and service providers during specialized facility improvement projects.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Proven experience in industrial electrical maintenance, building upkeep, and plumbing systems.

Technical Skills:

• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings with advanced troubleshooting capabilities.

Core Competencies:

Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, great communication skills, and the capacity to work independently. [

Reporting & Working Conditions

• Reporting to: Factory Manager / Operations Manager / Maintenance Manager.

• Environment: Primarily based on-site in a dynamic factory environment in Gelan Coffee Preparation and Storage Factory,

• Flexibility: May require working outside normal business hours to resolve emergency repairs or handle scheduled maintenance. Complete adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines is mandatory.
