Job Summary: The Microfinance Financing Division Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and supervising all financing operations within the Microfinance Department. The role ensures that financing activities comply with the bank's policies, regulatory requirements, and Shariah principles (where applicable), while achieving portfolio growth, maintaining high asset quality, and delivering quality financial services to clients.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise all microfinance financing activities.
Review and approve financing proposals within delegated authority.
Ensure timely processing and disbursement of financing facilities.
Monitor financing performance and portfolio quality.
Ensure compliance with financing policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
Monitor portfolio growth and sustainability.
Track Portfolio at Risk (PAR) and implement corrective actions.
Ensure effective financing monitoring and follow-up.
Minimize non-performing financing through proactive risk management.
Ensure proper appraisal and assessment of financing applications.
Review financing recommendations before approval.
Monitor adherence to credit risk policies.
Ensure appropriate collateral and guarantee management.
Develop strategies to increase outreach and financing portfolio.
Identify new business opportunities and financing products.
Build relationships with development partners, NGOs, government institutions, and other stakeholders.
Promote financial inclusion among underserved communities.
Supervise and mentor financing officers and branch financing teams.
Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions.
Identify staff training and capacity-building needs.
Promote teamwork and accountability.
Ensure compliance with National Bank regulations and internal policies.
Ensure financing operations comply with Shariah principles where applicable.
Coordinate internal and external audits related to financing activities.
Job Requirements
Master’s Degree/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields.
With 5/7 years of microfinance operations experience, of which 2 years as a Senior officer/Team leader in marketing-related areas
