Role Description:

The Marketing and Sales Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Addis Ababa.

•  Identify and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, and managing the sales pipeline to support revenue growth.

• Conduct market research, analysis, assessment and support the development and execution of sales and marketing plans, and coordinate with internal teams to align campaign activities with client needs.

• Day-to-day tasks include engaging prospects and existing clients, delivering presentations, maintaining strong customer relationships, and monitoring channel sales performance.

• Prepare sales and marketing reports, tracking key performance indicators.

• Ensure a high standard of customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships.

• Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Sales Operations skills to identify prospects, manage pipelines, and support structured sales processes.

• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.

• Candidates should possess Channel Sales experience, with the ability to manage and support partners or distribution channels.

• Relevant at least 3 years of experience in media, marketing related industries is beneficial.

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field is preferred.

• Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic office software to track sales activities and prepare reports is an advantage.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving client and market needs.
