Job Summary

NLMC is seeking an experienced Medical Ward Nurse to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients with medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients and monitor vital signs and clinical progress.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Identify clinical deterioration and escalate concerns promptly.

• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.

• Educate patients and families on treatment, medication, and recovery.

• Follow infection prevention, medication safety, and patient care protocols.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc Degree in Nursing from a recognised institution.

• Valid professional nursing licence.

• 3–5 years of relevant hospital experience, preferably in a medical ward.

• Direct experience in internal medicine or specialised medical care is strongly preferred.

• Additional training or a postgraduate qualification in medical nursing is an advantage.
