Job Description

Key responsibilities

1. Project Monitoring and Evaluation

• Develop and implement the project M&E plan, indicators, tools, and reporting systems.

• Monitor project activities, outputs, outcomes, and progress against targets.

• Conduct regular field visits to verify project implementation and beneficiary participation.

• Track the effectiveness of skills trainings and job placement for returnee women and childcare services for their children.

• Data Collection and Management

• Develop standardized data collection tools and ensure accurate and timely data entry.

• Collect and analyses data disaggregated such as sex, age, location, training type, and beneficiary category etc.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and proper documentation.

• Maintain an updated database of returnee women, trainees, employed beneficiaries, and children receiving care services.

• Employment and Skills Training Monitoring

• Monitor the number of returnee women enrolled in and completing professional skills training.

• Track job placement, employment retention, income generation, and self-employment outcomes.

• Assess the relevance and quality of training in relation to labour market opportunities.

• Monitor employers’ engagement and beneficiaries’ access to decent work opportunities.

• Childcare Services Monitoring

• Monitor the availability, accessibility, and quality of caregiving services provided to beneficiaries’ children.

• Track the number of children receiving childcare services and assess beneficiary satisfaction.

• Ensure that childcare activities follow child protection and safeguarding standards.

• Document the contribution of childcare services to women’s participation in training and employment.

• Reporting and Documentation

• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual M&E reports.

• Document achievements, challenges, lessons learned, and success stories.

• Provide accurate data for donor, government, and organisational reports.

• Develop dashboards and performance summaries to support management decisions.

• Learning, Accountability, and Coordination

• Establish feedback and complaint mechanisms for returnee women and service users.

• Conduct beneficiary satisfaction surveys and outcome assessments.

• Facilitate learning sessions to improve project implementation.

• Coordinate with project staff, training institutions, employers, childcare providers, and relevant stakeholders.

Key Performance Indicators

• Number of returnee women enrolled in professional skills training.

• Percentage of women completing training.

• Number and percentage of women accessing employment or self-employment.

• Number of women retaining employment after placement.

• Number of children receiving caregiving services.

• Percentage of beneficiaries satisfied with training, employment, and childcare services.

• Percentage of project targets achieved within the reporting period.

Quality and timeliness of project reports and data

Job Requirements

Major required educational background include:
BA/MA in Sociology, Social Work, Economics with more than 4 years of work experience directly on the area
