Job Description

Olera Agro Industry PLC invites qualified and interested professionals to apply for positions at its newly established Packaging Industry, located in Lega Tafo Sub-City, Sheger City Administration.

Olera Agro Industry PLC is a private limited company established under Ethiopian commercial law. The company was founded by two Ethiopian professionals with experience in agricultural products, manufacturing and marketing.

One shareholder has more than 30 years of experience in oilseed processing and trading, while the other has more than 20 years of experience in agricultural exports and import business.

The company aims to engage in agricultural value addition, export trade, manufacturing, service provision, short- and long-term investment projects, and the import and distribution of industrial chemicals and other industrial inputs.

The company has established market connections through contract farming with smallholder farmers and direct purchases from legally registered suppliers. Its objective is to generate returns for shareholders while contributing to Ethiopia’s industrial development. It also aims to establish international partnerships, facilitate technology transfer and increase Ethiopia’s share in international markets.

Job Requirements

• Educational Requirements: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree (First Degree) in the relevant field of study.

• Work Experience: Assistant Packaging Machine Operator: at least 1 year of relevant professional experience.

• Employment Type; Permanent employment for all positions.

• Salary; Salary will be negotiated and agreed upon.

• Place of Work; Gawassa area, Lega Tafo Sub-City, Sheger City Administration.
