Job Description

Purpose of the Job:

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and recording materials, spare parts, and finished goods to ensure accurate stock records, safe storage, and timely availability of items for operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming materials against delivery notes.
• Verify quantity, quality, and specifications before accepting items into the store.
• Record all receipts, issues, and transfers accurately in stock cards and ERP systems.
• Issue stock to base on authorized requests.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and bin locations for all items.
• Apply FIFO / FEFO principles in storing and issuing materials.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
• Report shortages, damages, breakages, missing, expiries, or slow-moving items to the supervisor.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, safe, and compliant with safety standards.
• Prevent loss, theft, misuse, or damage of company inventory.
• Support internal and external audits related to inventory.
• Prepare stock movement and balance reports as required.
• Maintain proper safety protocol across the full and empty goods warehouse team.
• Ensure the Quality and Food Safety Policy to keep the ISO standard implementation in the company. 
• The job holder is responsible to follow all SOPs and safety protocols of the company while doing his/her job.
• Attend regular team meetings monthly and share thoughts and ideas with colleagues.
• Implementing and respecting all tasks in compliance with standards and respecting all the set parameters by the system.
• Keeping records and documentations in compliance with the standards.
• Performs other related tasks assigned by the immediate manager.

Education:

• TVET Level   III or TVET Level II in Logistics or related fields with Competency Certification

Experience:

• 2 Years of Work Experience TVET LVEL III or 4 years of work experience for TVET LVEL II in warehouse management or related field.
