Job Summary

We are looking for two dedicated physiotherapists who are passionate about helping patients recover, regain confidence, and improve their quality of life.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Physiotherapy

• Valid professional license

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience

Quantity Required: 2

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Duties and Responsibilities

Checking and Treating Patients

• Talk to patients to understand their problems, pain areas, and any history related to the pain and how it affects their daily life.

• Do physical checks and tests to see their strength, movement, and overall condition.

• Order every necessary checkup like MRI, CT scan and others related to the pain as necessary

• Consult seniors and doctors for complex and rare cases as needed.

Needling or Electrical Therapy.

• Keep track of how patients are improving and change the plan if needed.

•  Attending the morning time for sharing experiences

• Attending trainings when available and needed

Patient Guidance and Advice

• Show patients how to do exercises correctly and safely at home.

• Teach them ways to prevent injuries and manage their condition.

• Explain how to use any support items like braces, straps, or walking aids.

Recording and Reporting

• Writing down each patient’s progress and treatment after each and every session to the platform that is prepared for this purpose.

• Documenting and filing in the patient’s personal box file as hard copies and also maintained in an organized system as soft copies.

• Filing the pain scale assessment documents

• Share daily or weekly reports with the Head of Physiotherapy.
