What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
Task Breakdown:
Lead procurement, logistics, supplier management, inventory coordination, and delivery planning to ensure construction projects receive required materials, equipment, and services on time and at appropriate cost.
Develop procurement and logistics strategies, annual plans, and project-specific procurement schedules.
Oversee sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and contract award processes.
Coordinate transport, delivery schedules, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution to project sites.
Monitor supplier performance, market risks, lead times, stock levels, and critical material availability.
Ensure procurement approvals, bid evaluations, purchase records, and logistics documents comply with company procedures.
Lead procurement and logistics staff, manage performance, and report cost, delivery, and supply-chain risks to management.
What We’re Looking For
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; relevant professional certification or master’s degree is an advantage.
Years of Experience:

Work Location: This position is based at project locations as required, with travel to project sites as required. (Bahir Dar, Jima, Hawasa, Benishangul, Bure, Bonga)
