Production Supervisor

Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor runs the daily floor operations that turn confirmed orders into finished garments and embroidered goods, coordinating the Sewing and Embroidery units to hit quality, quantity and deadline targets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate the production plan into daily/weekly line assignments for Sewing and Embroidery.

• Supervise line workers, machine operators and helpers to keep output on schedule.

• Monitor material usage and flag shortages to the Operations Manager before they cause delays.

• Check in-process work for obvious defects and escalate quality issues promptly.

• Keep production records: output counts, downtime, rework and attendance on the floor.

• Maintain a safe, organized and efficient production area.

• Coordinate handoffs between cutting, sewing, embroidery and finishing stages.

• Report daily/weekly production status to the Operations Manager.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or Certificate in Garment/Textile Production or related field, or equivalent floor experience.

• 3+ years in garment production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

• Hands-on familiarity with sewing and embroidery machine operations.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Practical, hands-on leadership on the shop floor.

• Ability to keep multiple lines/orders moving at once.

• Basic record-keeping and reporting.

• Good communication with workers, QC and the Operations Manager.
