Golden Star PLC is seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing and Sanitation Technician to handle plumbing maintenance, repair, and installation works, ensure proper water and sanitation systems, and support facility upkeep across company sites/building. This role ensures that water supply, drainage, and sanitation infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with high-end property standards and local regulations. Role and Responsibilities

• Inspect building facilities and identify any sanitary maintenance issues for preventive measure.

• Basic (minor leaks, faucets, toilets and drains)and major plumbing repairs.

• Install, inspect, and repair piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, pumps, and valves.

• Handle sanitary equipment’s carefully.

• Respond quickly for any maintenance requests.

• Follow health and safety sanitation and building procedures.

• Be physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs and perform routine maintenance work.

• Ensure proper functioning of drainage systems, sewage lines, and waste disposal units.

• Monitor and maintain sanitary conditions in restrooms, kitchens, and utility areas.

• Conduct regular inspections to prevent blockages, odors, and contamination.

• Troubleshoot and resolve leaks, clogs, and water flow issues promptly.

• Communicate effectively with building manager regarding service requests and scheduled maintenance.

• Work closely with housekeeping, engineering, and front desk teams to ensure seamless operations.

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and system checks.

• Respond to plumbing emergencies and sanitation-related issues swiftly and professionally.

• Maintain logs of repairs, inspections, and service schedules.

• Performs any other related duties of a permanent or temporary nature that may be assigned to him/her.

Job Requirements

​Education & Experience

• Diploma or BSc in Plumbing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Valid plumbing certification or license is advantageous

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in plumbing and sanitation, preferably in commercial building, office complex or apartment building.

• Strong knowledge of water systems, drainage layouts, and sanitation standards.

• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Professional demeanor and commitment to high service standards.
