Elysian Hotel and Guest House is a newly established hospitality facility in Addis Ababa, featuring 45 guest rooms, a lobby bar, a breakfast service area, a gym, a spa, and a terrace. We are seeking dedicated, professional, customer-oriented, and motivated individuals to join our growing team. Successful candidates will contribute to delivering excellent guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of our hotel.

Security Department
Security Guard
Job Summary: Protect hotel guests, employees, property, and facilities by monitoring access, conducting routine patrols, and responding to security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor entrances, exits, and designated hotel areas.
Verify visitors and manage access according to hotel procedures.
Conduct routine security patrols.
Monitor suspicious activities and report security concerns promptly.
Assist guests and visitors when appropriate.
Respond to emergencies according to established procedures.
Maintain security logs and incident reports.
Support the protection of hotel property and the safety of staff and guests.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Previous security experience is an advantage.
Good observation, communication, and situational awareness.
Honest, disciplined, alert, and dependable.
Ability to remain calm and professional during incidents.
Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
General Requirements for All Applicants
Relevant education, training, or work experience for the position applied for.
Previous experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is an advantage, particularly for specialized and supervisory positions.
Good communication skills in Amharic and English, as required by the role.
Strong work ethic, honesty, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
Commitment to guest satisfaction, teamwork, and quality service.
Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays when required.
Willingness to follow hotel policies, hygiene requirements, and workplace safety procedures.
