As part of its expansion program, the company invites qualified, competent, and motivated professionals to apply for the following position:
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate day-to-day accounting and financial activities of the company.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, journals, and accounting schedules.
Review and verify financial transactions, invoices, receipts, payment requests, and supporting documents.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash and bank transactions.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure timely follow-up and settlement.
Prepare and review tax-related documents and ensure compliance with applicable Ethiopian tax requirements.
Support the preparation of budgets, cash-flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
Monitor company expenses and ensure proper authorization and documentation.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and financial records.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, government authorities, and other relevant stakeholders when required.
Support management by providing accurate financial information and analysis for decision-making.
Monitor and reconcile inventory, purchases, sales, and other business transactions.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulations.
Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance or a closely related field.
4–5 years of directly relevant professional experience in accounting and finance.
Practical experience in financial reporting, general ledger, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, taxation, and financial analysis.
Experience in a trading, import/export, manufacturing, or similar business environment is an advantage.
Good knowledge of Ethiopian accounting and tax requirements.
Experience with accounting software/ERP systems is highly desirable.
Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-up skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional responsibility.
