Job Summary

The Vehicle Assembly and Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles imported in CKD/SKD configurations. The role involves following manufacturers’ procedures, performing pre-delivery inspections (PDI), coordinating the work of junior mechanics, maintaining accurate service records, and providing technical guidance to vehicle users. The successful candidate will also support after-sales services and ensure the proper functioning and reliability of vehicles.

Job Requirements

• Education: Auto Mechanic Level III and above

• Experience: Three years and above on Vehicles assembly and maintenance, preferably in EV three wheeler/ EV two wheeler import company

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive directions from the Assembly & After Sales Supervisor and organize the work of junior mechanics.

• Follow manufacturers’ procedures and assemble components of vehicles imported in CKD/SKD configurations.

• Perform PDI.

• Conduct regular maintenance on vehicles.

• Meet with clients outside Addis Ababa to better understand their concerns and identify issues.

• Design a plan of action for all assembly tasks, maintenance tasks, and upgrades.

• Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.

• Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.

• Offer consultation on maintenance and preventive procedures to vehicle users.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.
