Sheahem Trading PLC is a fast-growing pharmaceutical and healthcare products importing company committed to delivering high-quality products and building long-term partnerships. We are seeking a highly competent, ethical, and results-oriented Senior Finance Officer to strengthen our finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Follow up Letters of Credit (LCs), import payments, and banking transactions.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax-related reports.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Maintain accurate financial records in the ERP system (Odoo experience is an advantage).
Ensure compliance with company policies, IFRS, and Ethiopian tax regulations.
Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
Recommend improvements to internal controls and finance processes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical import, trading, or import/export companies is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws and financial reporting.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using ERP systems (Odoo is an added advantage).
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
High integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
