Job Summary

The Senior GPS and Fleet Tracking Officer administers NTPLC's GPS/telematics platform so that every truck is tracked, data is reliable, and management receives accurate movement, fuel, and driver-behavior reports.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Administer the GPS/telematics platform: user accounts, geofences, alerts, routes, and report configuration.

• Coordinate installation, configuration, and maintenance of GPS devices and sensors with service providers.

• Maintain the inventory of trackers, IMEIs, SIM cards, and installation records; ensure every truck reports live.

• Monitor vehicle locations, route deviations, unauthorized stops, over-speeding, and idle time in real time.

• Escalate abnormal events (theft risk, accidents, and tampering) to dispatch, safety, and management immediately.

• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on trips, mileage, fuel, driver behavior, and utilization.

• Support integration of GPS data with Odoo ERP systems.

• Train dispatchers, fleet staff, and drivers on the tracking system; troubleshoot device and platform issues.

Job Requirements

• BA/BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Logistics or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in GPS tracking, fleet telematics or fleet management systems, preferably with heavy-truck fleets.
