Job Description

Location: Addis Ababa / Gambela

Guarantor Requirement: Selected candidates must be able to provide a sufficient guarantor according to company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain repair records and report recurring faults and maintenance requirements.

• Guide junior mechanics and ensure safe and proper workshop practices.

• Inspect engines, transmissions, braking, suspension, and other vehicle systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs according to maintenance schedules.

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy trucks and related mechanical systems.

• Perform comprehensive repairs and maintenance on heavy trucks, including engine, transmission, and suspension systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address mechanical issues and implement modifications for enhanced vehicle performance.

• Mentor junior mechanics, providing guidance on best practices and technical skills.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours for compliance and reporting purposes.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in heavy vehicle technology and mechanical practices to enhance service delivery.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.

Job Requirements

Education

• Diploma/Degree in Auto Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 5–7+ years of professional experience
