Senior Legal Expert
General Purpose of the Job: The jobholder is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the Legal Division, provision of legal advisory services and ensuring effective management of legal and contractual risks.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the Division for executive management meetings.
Provide continuous leadership, supervision, training and development of Division staff ensuring an effective and motivated team
Review progress of outstanding litigation and liaise with and manage external lawyers
Initiates legal proceedings on behalf of the Company and/or represent company in courts of law or appoint attorneys to handle the legal cases on their behalf.
Ensure that all contractual documents meet the standard prescription to avoid any potential risks.
Ensure that Company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association are updated to reflect the changes made by Management and changes of relevant laws governing the activities of the company.
Job Requirements
Qualifications: Bachelor degree of Laws (LLB) or Master of Laws (LLM)
Experience: 5/4 years of experience as legal advisor or Attorney
