Job Description

Job Summary

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe plant operations by diagnosing mechanical problems, performing repairs and maintenance, and maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities, including materials used and personnel assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Education: TVET Level 4 in Mechanical Technology or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience

• Quantity Required: 3

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assists in assuring the safety of plant operations by promptly addressing mechanical issues and effecting necessary repairs

• Inspects defective plant and diagnoses malfunctions.

• Inspects, repairs, maintains and/or lubricates functional parts of the mechanical plant                     

• Maintains records of all maintenance and repair including dates of repair or maintenance materials used and workers assigned.

• Ensures maintenance work complies with safety and operational standards
