About the Job

The Senior Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (OSHE) Expert will lead the development, implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of Romina PLC's OSHE management system across its business units, corporate offices, and operational facilities.

The role ensures compliance with applicable local legislation and international standards, proactively manages workplace hazards, prevents occupational injuries and illness, and minimizes environmental impacts.

The position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Director and works closely with operational managers, supervisors, employees, and relevant stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture and environmental responsibility.

Main Job Functions

• Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the company's OSHE management system in line with applicable legislation and ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.

• Identify workplace hazards, assess occupational risks, and ensure effective preventive and control measures across all business units and operational facilities.

• Manage environmental aspects and impacts, including waste management, pollution prevention, and efficient resource utilization.

• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, permits, and corporate requirements.

• Coordinate incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, emergency response planning, and emergency drills.

• Develop and deliver OSHE training and awareness programs to promote employee competence, safe work practices, and environmental responsibility.

• Conduct OSHE audits, inspections, and compliance assessments and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Establish OSHE performance indicators, analyze trends, maintain records, and prepare periodic performance and compliance reports.

• Integrate OSHE requirements into operational activities, maintenance, procurement, facility management, and contractor engagement.

• Advise the Quality Assurance Director and operational management on OSHE risks, compliance gaps, resource needs and improvement opportunities.

Job Requirements

Qualification

• MSc/BSc Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Industrial Safety or related fields.

Work Experience

• 5 years and above for BSc and 3 years and above for MSc.

Certification Required

• Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001)

• Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)

• Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) or HACCP

• Quality Management System (ISO 9001)

• Management System Auditing (ISO 19001)
