We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and results-oriented professional to join our team for the following position.
Position: Senior Site Engineer
📍 Work Location: Addis Ababa, near Goro ICT Park

Job Purpose
The Senior Site Engineer will oversee and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules. The role requires strong technical expertise, site supervision, and effective coordination with project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Review architectural, structural, and other relevant engineering drawings before and during execution.
Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, technicians, and site personnel.
Ensure construction work meets required quality standards and approved project specifications.
Conduct site inspections and identify technical issues, defects, and deviations from approved designs.
Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, architects, and other engineering professionals to resolve site-related challenges.
Monitor construction materials, equipment, and manpower utilization.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements and applicable construction regulations.
Maintain accurate site records, inspection reports, and construction documentation.
Identify potential delays and recommend corrective measures to maintain project schedules.
Verify completed work quantities and support the preparation of progress measurements and payment documentation.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Technology and Management, or a related engineering field from a recognized institution.
Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant construction experience, including substantial experience in site supervision.
Experience in building construction, commercial buildings, office buildings, or smart building projects is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, specifications, and quality control procedures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering or project management software.
Good understanding of construction safety standards and applicable Ethiopian building regulations.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple site activities and meet project deadlines.
Professional registration or licensing, where applicable.
