Company Overview
Dantech Trading supplies laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, chemicals, educational equipment and technical services to educational institutions, research and government organizations, industrial laboratories, NGOs and development partners.
We are seeking a qualified, customer-focused and results-oriented Service Engineer to join our technical team.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and test analytical laboratory equipment.

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Diagnose technical faults and perform equipment repairs.

• Inspect equipment and assess maintenance requirements.

• Provide equipment demonstrations, user training and technical support.

• Prepare service, inspection and maintenance reports.

• Support the preparation of technical proposals, compliance sheets and tender documents.

• Verify equipment specifications, accessories and installation requirements.
  Coordinate warranty services, spare parts and technical support with manufacturers.

• Maintain accurate records of service activities, spare parts and customer equipment.

• Respond promptly to customer technical enquiries and service requests.

• Travel to customer sites throughout Ethiopia when required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field.

• At least two years of relevant technical-service experience.

• Proven practical experience with analytical laboratory equipment is mandatory.

• Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of laboratory instruments.

• Good understanding of electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.

• Ability to read technical manuals, specifications, wiring diagrams and service documents.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and customer-support skills.

• Good communication, reporting and user-training abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technical reporting.

• Self-motivated, responsible and capable of working independently.

• Willingness to travel and provide field-based technical services.
