As we scale up operations in the Afar Region (Berhale, Koneba, and Dallol Woredas), we are seeking 10 dedicated, empathetic field professionals to join our emergency response mission.

Operating under the direct supervision of the Child Protection Officer / GBV Response Officer, the successful candidates will deliver critical psychosocial support, manage case documentation, and drive community-led prevention initiatives. The role is directly responsible for organizing and facilitating structured psychosocial and life-skills activities within Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) and Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS). Social Workers will conduct community outreach, identify vulnerable children and individuals at risk of GBV, adhere strictly to survivor-centered and child-centered principles, and support safe thematic referrals in crisis-affected communities.

Conduct community awareness-raising sessions and behavior-change campaigns on child protection, GBV prevention, available support services, referral channels, and stigma reduction.
Map and collaborate with local community structures, care groups, women's groups, and key local leaders to strengthen community-based protection networks.
Distribute protection-related information and support materials during community outreach.
Information Management, Monitoring & Reporting
Maintain strict confidentiality and data protection principles for all case files, strictly adhering to the "Do No Harm" principle.
Maintain accurate daily attendance records and activity logs for CFS and WGSS sessions while ensuring strict data confidentiality.
Ensure accurate, structured, and timely documentation of all cases using standardized intake and progress forms.
Track weekly community outreach metrics, prepare regular progress updates, and submit weekly and monthly activity reports to the supervising CP and GBV Officers.
Promptly report safety concerns, operational challenges, or protection gaps identified in the field to immediate supervisors.
