Warehouse Manager

Job Description

 Job Purpose

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating, leading, and organizing the warehouse functions for maximum effectiveness and optimal cost at all levels of the supply chain process. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, leads and controls the warehouse functions of the company.  

• Develop policies, procedures and strategies for efficient warehouse function.

• Plans, organizes, coordinates, leads and controls the warehouse functions of the company.  

• Manage the Effective recipient, storage and dispatch of goods (FG , Empty and RM), by ensuring accurate Inventory control and management, plus Oversee the loading and unloading activities, through ensuring safety compliance and protocol and efficiency in Operation.T

• Ensure Adherence to occupational H&S with in all Wearhouse, promoting safe working environment, and using safety manual , incident report , and employee training records to ensure safety compliance

• Ensure the existence of efficient warehouse function to meet the internal and external customer service requirements.

• Ensures the existence of proper staffing & resources for the efficient and effective warehouse function to meet customer service requirements at lowest cost. 

• Designs strategies for economic usage of warehouses & implements after approval.

• Ensures incoming raw materials, spare parts & products are received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.

• Select the appropriate assets and equipment (warehouse space, forklift, racks, loading docks, etc) to run the warehousing operation efficiently.

• Ensure maintenance of the assets and equipment in good condition in accordance with the regulations applicable (safety, maintenance, etc)

• Identify the appropriate and cost-efficient handling and storage equipment to meet long term requirements based on available information (sales forecast, inventory and production plans, site layout development, etc.)

• Produces reports and statistics using computer software for use in determining inventory movements & consumption patterns.

• Manages control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved

Qualification Requirements

Education

• Educational requirement: MA/MSC/BA/BSC in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics/Transportation/ Management/ or related fields of study

Experience

• Work experience: 6/8yrs of relevant experience in beverage industries
