Job Description

Carryout food grade welding and installation works including stainless steel, black steel, aluminum, cast iron welding with appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements by fitting adjustments and following process flow chart and P&ID.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

• Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).

• Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces

• Use welding machine & necessary tools according to the manufacture procedure

• Ensure the 5 S & organization of the Workshop as per defined rules.

• Perform pipeline maintenance, replacement and repair throughout the factory

• Perform welding jobs accurately to avoid work repetition and material wastage

• Transport welding machines & necessary materials to the required site

• Handle carefully hand tools, measuring instruments and others that company provide him to use

• Participate in any emergency repairs and perform all duties of general mechanic work

• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, rules

• Responsible to report problem(S) regarding the integrated management system such as on FSMS, QMS, EMS, and OHSMS to QSHE supervisor and/or his immediate supervisor

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements

• The position requires a minimum of TVET Level-2 or Level-3 and CoC certification in General Mechanics or Electro mechanics or Industrial Mechanics or Industrial Electricity or Manufacturing Technology

• 5 or 3 years’ experience as Welder in FMCG factory or industrial setting

• Mastering mechanical and electrical technologies

• Analytical skill

• Excellent problem-solving skill

• Works under pressure
