Job Overview

The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support compliance. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience, a strong grasp of accounting principles, and thrive in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Records: Maintain ledgers (AP/AR/GL), process invoices, and reconcile transactions.
• Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and budget tracking.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to tax regulations and support audit preparations.
• Process Improvement: Identify efficiencies in financial workflows.
• Collaboration: Work cross-departmentally to verify financial data.
   

Qualifications

• Experience: 1-3 years in accounting (hospitality/retail preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance. Certifications (e.g., ACCA) are a plus.
• Skills:
  • Proficient in QuickBooks/SAP and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Ethiopian tax laws.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and ethical.
• Attributes: Team player, adaptable, and eager to grow.
