Position Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with daily sales tracking, payment processing, tax reporting, and other core accounting functions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and smooth operational support for our café business. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to assist with various accounting projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities

-    Following up of daily cafe sales and making ready for recording sales

-    Processing & preparing disbursements and following up on late payments & settlements

-    Ensuring accurate daily, monthly, quarterly & year end close processes. 

-    Preparing monthly taxes reports and online reporting 

-    Assist with other accounting projects

Qualifications

• BA in accounting with 2 years Experience
• Proven experience as a junior accountant
• Excellent organizing abilities
• Great attention to detail
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
