Job Summary

Edge Communication Technology is seeking a competent and motivated Power and Infrastructure Engineer to join our technical team. The role involves overseeing the design, operation, and maintenance of power systems and infrastructure that support the company’s telecommunications and technology operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in power management, backup systems, and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring consistent and reliable performance. This position also includes supporting presales activities such as preparing technical designs, proposals, and documentation tailored to client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain power generation and distribution systems, including generators, UPS systems, switchgear, and transformers.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of key infrastructure such as data centers, cooling systems, cabling, and equipment housing.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in electrical, mechanical, and infrastructure systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, system performance, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement infrastructure upgrades and energy efficiency improvements.
• Respond promptly to infrastructure or power-related emergencies.
• Prepare preliminary infrastructure designs, technical proposals, and cost estimates (BoQ and BoM) based on client requirements.
• Work closely with the sales and project teams during presales stages to ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with client needs.

Reports to: CTO / Engineering Operation Manager.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Additional training or certification in infrastructure management is an asset.

Experience:

• 0 Years ( Fresh Graduates )

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of both power and infrastructure systems.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management tools and software.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
