Menschen für Menschen Foundation is a nongovernmental, nonreligious and nonpartisan humanitarian organization involved in Integrated Rural Development activities. Currently, in collaboration with a local implementing partner is going to implement a project titled Strengthening post-conflict society by supporting survivors of Gender-Based Violence and vulnerable communities in Tigray, South-Eastern Zone, Adgudem city and Hitalo Woreda. So, the Foundation wishes to invite applicants with the following qualifications and experiences for the stated project.

Job Title: Health officer 

Number required:  1 (One)

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support project staff in mental health and psychosocial support activities.
• Provide guidance and technical support for project staff including training facilitation.
• Together with Partners project staff, engage in beneficiary selection for each activity including enrollment in livelihood program. 
• Involve in regular monthly meeting.
• Share progress report to MfM Project Coordination Office in monthly basis.
• Ensure the implementations and its consistency in methodology in accordance with the project plan and its outcome.
• Involve in partnership and networking platforms. 
• Support partners project staff to comply with the donor and MfM regulations. 
• Produce documentaries of the project success stories and learned lessons.
• Involve in periodic monitoring meetings and visits of stakeholders including end line evaluations.
• Ensure the presence of donor and MfM logos in visibility materials.

Duty stations:  AdiGudem City of Hintalo Woreda, South-Eastern Zone of Tigray Region

Language:  A good command of spoken & written English, Tigrigna is also preferable

Salary:  Negotiable

Terms of Employment:  Yearly renewable contract

 Skills REQUIRED:  

• Goodknowledge & skill on Microsoft office in particular word, excel, outlook & power point.
•  Strong organizational & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, also work as part of a team 

Qualifications: 

• BSc in Public Health/Mental Health. 

Work Experience:  

• Minimum of 5-year relevant experience preferably on community-based health related project in NGO setting. Besides, have a capacity of facilitating training, organizing events and campaigns. Also, have experience in executing projects implemented with partners.
