Position Overview:

Dream Orthopedics, Trauma and Spine Center is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Laboratory Technician. The ideal candidate will have Diploma in Laboratory Technician with 0 year experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, label, and safely store samples to be tested, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Determine the appropriate tests required for analysis based on clinical or research needs and perform these tests accurately.
• Record detailed test results and analyses, then report findings clearly to appropriate personnel or systems.
• Discuss and clarify test results with healthcare providers or relevant stakeholders, answering any questions regarding the findings.
• Organize and store samples in accordance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements to ensure personnel safety and sample integrity.
• Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment regularly, ensuring all instruments are functioning correctly and accurately.
• Maintain comprehensive equipment records, daily work logs, and quality assurance documentation.
• Stay current with advancements in laboratory techniques, scientific developments, and regulatory standards in the field.
• Perform a variety of tests daily, including blood typing, drug screening, urinalysis, tissue sample analysis, and other specialized assays.
• Operate a range of laboratory equipment, from basic tools like microscopes and slides to advanced automated analyzers capable of running multiple test panels simultaneously.
• Follow instructions from Laboratory Managers or Senior Technologists to address test discrepancies, prioritize tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency.
• Sterilize and prepare personal protective equipment and workspaces before and after handling potentially hazardous materials, maintaining a safe laboratory environment.
