Aha Psychological Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Counselor to join our team. We are dedicated to providing holistic and evidence-based mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. This role is ideal for an experienced clinician who is passionate about supporting diverse populations through various stages of life and psychological challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, couple, and family counseling using culturally competent, trauma-informed approaches.
• Conduct counseling sessions for children and adolescents.
• Facilitate substance abuse counseling and recovery planning.
• Deliver career counseling as needed.
• Apply EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) techniques for trauma recovery.
• Conduct clinical mental health assessments and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with team members to provide integrated care.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant counseling experience.
• Active professional licensure.
• Certified or trained in EMDR.
• Demonstrated experience in:
  • Substance abuse counseling
  • Individual counseling
  • Couple and family therapy
  • Career and clinical counseling
  • Child and adolescent counseling
• Experience working in a mental health setting.
• Familiarity or experience with speech therapy is a plus, but not required.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a client-centered environment
