Job Descriptions and Responsibilities

• Planning, organizing, directing and controlling production, plant maintenance, environment protection & safety management activities of the Company; 

• Overseeing and making sure that production, plant maintenance, environment and social protection and safety management activities are properly coordinated and effectively carried out as per the Company’s polices & procedures; 

• Ensuring that the safety, health and environment procedures of the Company are strictly followed by employees and that safety materials & devices are timely handed out to eligible employees; 

• Ensuring compliance of work units under his/her jurisdiction to established policies and procedures;

• Handling and making decisions on high level issues of the Company’s production and technical operations and environmental protection and safety issues as per delegated authority;

•  Developing and implementing strategy for improving key performance indicators of the Company’s production and technical operations;

• Putting to effect the policies and procedures laid down, resolutions made and directions given by the management of the Company pertaining to production and technical operations and environmental protection and safety issues; 

• Ensuring that the production and  product quality of the Company  are customer-focused and cost effective ;

• Leading efficiency and process improvement initiatives, developing new concepts, techniques and standards that make the operation efficient and competitive;

• Working out and allocating resources effectively and fully utilizing  assets to align with the Company’s production strategy;

• Working in collaboration and close partnership with pertaining local administration bodies;

• Ensuring that the day-to-day production and technical operations of the Company  are tuned with the targeted results;

• Monitoring and ensuring the provision of technical, logistical and resource management support to the Company’s production and technical  operations, and the coordination thereof;

• Overseeing the preparation and translation into action of production and maintenance schedules; 

• Promoting safety and environmental compliance through active participation and support of company safety policies and programs; ensuring compliance to safety procedures in the production operation;

• Proposing improvements and changes in policies and procedures as appropriate in a way that enhances production and technical operations efficiency;

• Ensuring that human resources development programs and motivation schemes are enforced to foster efficiency and labor productivity;

• Creating and modifying policies to comply with safety legislation and industry practices;

• Ensuring that proper recording and reporting systems are in place for the production and technical operations, environmental protection and safety matters of the Company, and effectively enforced and reviewed periodically;

• Communicating information through all required communication channels, including updated written operating procedures, and quarterly reviewing and other matters of the Company’s production and technical operations, environment and safety;

• Submitting timely and accurate production and technical operational reports and statements to management;

• Overseeing the recruitment, selection, placement/ assignment, orientation/ induction, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees of the Company’s production and technical operations;

• Overseeing and performing other related duties of the Company’s production and technical operations and environmental and safety functions as required.

From recognized university second degree in Paper Technology/Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Manufacturing Technology Or From recognized university/college first degree in Paper Technology/ Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Manufacturing Technology
