Working in a Fintech & Equb companies is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy & Growth
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with business growth and revenue targets.
  • Strengthen brand trust and adoption of digital Equb and fintech solutions.
  • Align marketing activities with finance and operations to support revenue realization.

2. Client Acquisition & Commercial Activation

  • Lead onboarding of Equb groups, SMEs, agents, and institutional clients.
  • Ensure all on boarded clients are commercially activated and compliant with pricing and payment terms.
  • Monitor client performance and identify accounts with low usage or delayed payments.

3. Cash Collection & Due Payment Recovery (Key Accountability)

  • Aggressively follow up and collect outstanding payments, service fees, commissions, and contractual dues from clients and partners.
  • Prepare and track aging reports in collaboration with the Finance team.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups, meetings, and negotiations to ensure timely settlement of overdue balances.
  • Enforce payment terms, including service restriction or suspension for non-compliant clients, as per company policy.
  • Support legal, compliance, and finance teams in escalation of chronic or high-risk overdue accounts.

4. Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Maintain professional client relationships while strictly enforcing payment discipline.
  • Resolve disputes or service issues affecting collections in coordination with internal teams.
  • Conduct payment performance reviews with key clients and partners.

5. Digital, Field & Community Marketing

  • Manage digital campaigns, field activations, and community-based marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing messages clearly communicate pricing, value proposition, and payment obligations.
  • Track campaign performance and conversion into paying and cash-generating customers.

6. Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Report regularly on client acquisition, revenue generation, cash collections, and overdue status.
  • Recommend improvements to equb models, service charge rate, and collection strategies.

7. Compliance & Ethical Collection

  • Ensure all marketing and collection activities comply with NBE regulations and VE company policies.
  • Promote ethical, transparent, and respectful collection practices.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • MA/BA in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing strategy development and team leadership

Experience

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in Equb, fintech, banking, telecom, or digital services.
  • Proven experience in equb, digital marketing, customer acquisition, and brand management.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Equb, fintech, digital payments, and financial inclusion concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to balance creativity with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Growth in active users and Equb groups on boarded
