Main Duties and Responsibilities 

Under the close supervision and control of the Insurance and Facility Management Supervisor, the Messenger, is responsible for running interoffice errands such as distributions of office correspondences, materials and mail.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities 

1. Transmits oral messages to employees or supervisors within the company;

2. Receives telephone messages in the absence of any one in the office; 

3. Ensures that all lights are off  and windows are closed before offices are locked; 

4. Receives and delivers messages and other items to various offices, places or persons within the company premises;

5. Signs for items received and obtains receipts of articles delivered;

6. Assists visitors/customers in locating offices or staff members; 

7. Assists in various manual works such as moving furniture and carrying supplies;

8. Performs other job related duties as required by immediate supervisor.

12th/10thgrade complete
