ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE), re-established by proclamation No. 1133/2011, is the constitutionally mandated body to conduct elections, organize referendum and regulate political parties in Ethiopia. NEBE is working to boost its’ institutional strength with a special focus on enhancement of human resource capacity. Accordingly, NEBE would like to invite applicants for Deputy Head, CVE Department position who meets the following requirements.

Job Summary
The Civic and Voter Education Deputy Head plays a pivotal role in supporting the planning, coordination, and implementation of civic education and voter engagement initiatives. The Deputy Head assists the Civic and Voter Education Head in executing strategic campaigns to increase voter awareness, participation, and overall civic engagement within the community. This role involves overseeing the creation of educational content, organizing events, collaborating with stakeholders, and monitoring the effectiveness of outreach programs.

Ensure that all voter education activities are well-documented and that lessons learned are incorporated into future planning.

Specification:
Education and Work Experience:

Strong understanding of civic education principles, voter rights, and electoral processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
Leadership abilities, with experience in managing teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
