ALHIW TRADING PLC is engaged in diversified businesses in the area of import, export and building rental businesses. Our company urgently needs to recruit qualified candidates for the following positions.

Location: Addis Ababa

Number of Positions 1 (One)

Position Summary:

The Deputy CEO supports the CEO in leading the overall business, oversees day-to-day operations across the import/export and building rental divisions, and acts on behalf of the CEO when required.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree Business Administration, Management, Accounting & Finance or related fields.

Experience:

• Master’s Degree with 10+ years of experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of experience in

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior management position within the import/export industry.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of business strategy, operations, finance, tax and compliance.

• Good understanding of customs and clearing, banking and trade procedures.

• Leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication skills in Amharic and English.

Driving License Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the CEO in setting and implementing company strategy, plans and budgets.

• Oversee daily operations of all departments, branches and business units.

• Monitor performance, financial results and compliance with laws and regulations.

• Lead and coordinate department heads and ensure effective teamwork.

• Represent the company before partners, banks, customers and government bodies.

• Act on behalf of the CEO in his/her absence.
