Electro Mechanic

Job Description

Experience: 3–5 years

Location: Addis Ababa

Job Purpose:

Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service electrical and mechanical components of industrial machinery to ensure reliable and continuous production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical faults.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot motors, control panels, sensors, switches, pumps, and related equipment.
• Inspect machinery regularly and identify potential technical problems.
• Support installation and commissioning of industrial machines.
• Operate and maintain Italian-manufactured industrial machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Replace faulty electrical and mechanical components.
• Work closely with production staff to reduce machine downtime.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance activities, and spare parts used.
• Follow health, safety, and technical procedures.       

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with Italian-manufactured machinery is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial automation, motors, control panels, sensors, and electrical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery independently.
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Arabic is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
