Operations Manager

Location: Addis Ababa

Job Purpose:

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure efficient production, effective resource utilization, quality standards, and smooth coordination between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily operational activities.
• Monitor production processes and ensure operational targets are achieved.
• Coordinate production, technical, maintenance, and support teams.
• Ensure machinery and equipment are properly operated and maintained.
• Monitor efficient use of materials, manpower, and other resources.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Identify operational problems and implement appropriate solutions.
• Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.
• Support installation, operation, and maintenance of Italian-manufactured machinery.
• Train and supervise employees on proper machinery operation and workplace procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of production and industrial operations.
• Practical experience with Italian-manufactured machinery is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of electrical and electromechanical systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluency in Arabic is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
