Duty Station: Adama
Position: Human Resource Manager (HRM)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company’s human resource policies and procedures.
Plan and execute recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees.
Prepare job descriptions, organisational structures, and manpower plans.
Manage employee attendance, leave, personnel records, and HR documentation.
Administer payroll inputs, employee benefits, and statutory HR requirements.
Ensure compliance with Ethiopian Labour Proclamation and other employment regulations.
Develop and implement performance management and employee appraisal systems.
Coordinate employee training, skills development, and succession planning.
Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Promote workplace health, safety, and employee welfare in coordination with the HSE team.
Support department managers with workforce planning for production and operations.
Prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and management reports.
Foster a positive organisational culture and employee engagement.
Supervise HR officers and administrative staff where applicable.

Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s Degree is an advantage.
Professional HR certification is desirable.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience.
At least 2 years in a supervisory or HR management role.
Experience in a manufacturing, food processing, or industrial company is highly preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labour laws and employment regulations.
Experience in recruitment, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop HR policies and procedures.
Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
