Job Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science /Technology, Microbiology or with related field of study

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in a clinical laboratory setting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.    

• Quantity Required : 1             

• Location: Dire Dawa, Ethiopia                                                                                                                       

• Language: Professional fluency in both English and Amharic (written and spoken)

• Gross Salary: 99,913.79 ETB

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage day-to-day operations and clinical workflows of the laboratory services department.

• Ensure full compliance with national regulatory standards, safety protocols, and quality control frameworks.

• Lead, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff members to optimize team performance and service delivery.

• Oversee the procurement, maintenance, and technical calibration of advanced diagnostic equipment.

• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, budget management, and service expansion initiatives.
