Company Overview

Dantech Trading supplies laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, chemicals, educational equipment and technical services to educational institutions, research and government organizations, industrial laboratories, NGOs and development partners.
We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and develop new business opportunities.

• Promote laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, chemicals and technical services.

• Conduct frequent customer visits, product presentations and sales follow-ups.

• Prepare quotations, technical proposals and sales reports.

• Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations, tenders, purchase orders and payments

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

• Identify and monitor public- and private-sector tender opportunities.

• Support the preparation, review and submission of tender documents.

• Conduct market and competitor research.

• Support digital marketing and social-media activities.

• Achieve assigned monthly and annual sales targets.

• Maintain accurate customer information and sales-pipeline records.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, Medical Laboratory Science, Chemical Engineering or a related field.

• At least two years of relevant sales experience.

• Proven sales experience in laboratory equipment, scientific instruments, chemicals or related technical products is mandatory.

• Strong background and proven practical experience in tender management is mandatory.

• Ability to understand and communicate technical product specifications.

• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.

• Self-motivated, customer-focused and results-oriented.

• Willingness to travel and conduct frequent customer visits.
