Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience

• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities.

• Teach basic academic, social, and developmental skills.

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children.

• Monitor and assess children’s learning and development.

• Prepare and maintain classroom learning materials.

• Communicate with parents about children’s progress and needs.

• Maintain a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to communicate with young children at their level.

• Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition

• Good mediation and nurturing abilities.

• Creative mindset with an ability to create memorable, out-of-the-box lessons

• Passion for shaping and inspiring young minds.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Ability to serve as a positive role model.

• Ability to wisely communicate with parents concerning possible problems or other issues involving their children

• Ability to solve problems.

• Good command of English and Amharic languages
