ALSAM PLC is launching the BiC Cristal Pen Manufacturing Factory in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and invites qualified, experienced, and competent professionals to join its technical and production team.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Polymer, Manufacturing Engineering or with related field of study

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in precision plastic extrusion manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Experience in precision extrusion processes.

Quantity Required: 2

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of plastic extrusion processes and machine operation.

• Strong troubleshooting, quality control, and preventive maintenance skills.

• Leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Familiarity with workplace safety and 5S practices.

• Strong team leadership skills.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Keeper of quality and safety standards.

• Continuous Improvement mindset (Lean Manufacturing is an advantage).

• Ability to manage extrusion line performance and ensure consistent output.
