- Completion of planned inspections and tests in line with approved ITPs.
- Accuracy and completeness of quality records.
- Timely issuance and closure of NCRs and corrective actions.
- Compliance of materials and workmanship with specifications.
- Reduction in recurring defects, rework, and rejected work.
- Readiness of quality and handover documentation.
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
Task Breakdown:
- Implement the project quality plan, inspection and test plans (ITPs), method statements, and specifications.
- Inspect construction activities and materials against approved drawings, standards, and contract requirements.
- Coordinate material approvals, sampling, laboratory testing, and inspection requests.
- Raise, record, track, and follow up non-conformance reports (NCRs), defects, and corrective actions.
- Review quality documentation, checklists, test results, inspection records, and handover dossiers.
- Coordinate with site engineers, office engineering, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and laboratories.
- Identify recurring quality risks and support audits and continuous improvement.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Department: Project Quality Control / Quality Assurance
- Reports To: Project Manager / Quality Manager or designated supervisor
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
Years of Experience: Typically 4–6 years of construction quality-control or quality-assurance experience.
Relevant Experience: Familiarity with ITPs, materials testing, quality documentation, and applicable standards is expected.
Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Construction inspection, testing, and quality assurance/control methods.
- Interpretation of drawings, specifications, codes, and method statements.
- NCR management, root-cause analysis, and corrective action.
- Quality records, test reports, and audit support.
Soft Skills:
- Communication and coordination with site and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, impartiality, and continuous improvement.
Education & Certifications
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
