Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced senior HR manager to oversee human resources operations across our transport, fleet, and logistics network. You will lead workforce planning, driver and operational staff recruitment, labor compliance, and employee relations to maintain high operational uptime and retention
Key Responsibilitie
High-Volume & Specialized Recruitment: Lead talent acquisition for drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, warehouse staff, and management.
Workforce Planning & Scheduling: Align staffing levels with seasonal peak demands, shift rotations, and route schedules.
Compliance & Safety Regulation: Ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws, transport regulations, safety protocols, and driver certifications.
Employee Relations & Union Management: Manage employee grievances, manage union relationships (if applicable), and drive workplace safety and retention initiatives.
Performance & Compensation: Administer performance evaluations, overtime tracking, shift-differential pay, and incentive programs geared toward logistics safety and efficiency.
Training & Onboarding: Oversee safety orientations, defensive driving certifications, and operational skill development programs.
Job Requirements
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior or supervisory role within transport, logistics, supply chain, or fleet management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or HR Certification like SHRM/CIPD is a plus).
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of transport sector labor dynamics, driver management, shift scheduling, and local labor legislation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and time/attendance tracking software.
Soft Skills: Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and communication skills under fast-paced operational pressure.
